Description: Design and install a Xenon Safety System to monitor existing hazardous gas sensors in the HF Alky unit. System is designed to report alarm events to the AQMD per the district’s format and requirements.
Project tasks include:
- Interface with 25 hazardous gas sensors in HF Alky Unit
- Safety System interfaces with existing AllenBradley PLC via Ethernet/IP protocol to poll
sensor data - Allows monitoring, report gathering, and alarm viewing from remote locations
- Email and text notifications for alarms and system status as well as live values,
alarm/system status via web interface - Designed and integrated to meet UL requirements
